Patricia Ann Fuselier's Obituary
Patricia Ann Fuselier, 73, of Escondido, passed away Thursday February 4, 2021 after a courageous battle against non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.
Born on April 14, 1947 in Cape Town, South Africa, she was the only child of the late Hilda Blundell and Baden Solomon. Patricia graduated from Plumstead High School, Cape Town, at the age of 16.
In 1971, she and two girlfriends traveled to Europe. While traveling in Rome, Patricia met her husband of almost 40 years, the late Foche “Bud” Allenbay Fuselier Jr. They were married on July 27, 1974 in Naples, Italy. After living in Italy and Spain for some time they permanently relocated to the United States.
Patricia was an Escondido resident for 25 years. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Patricia will be remembered for her loving, passionate and inquisitive personality.
She is survived by her daughter, Ginna Bertheau and husband Torrey, of Issaquah, WA; son, Christopher Fuselier and wife Kim, of Yorba Linda, CA; son, Ryan Fuselier and wife Lara of Stamford, CT; granddaughters, Madeleine and Natalie; grandsons, Baden, Julian, Donovan and Raf.
A private memorial service will be held in Escondido, CA.
In lieu of the flowers the family is asking for donations to be made in honor of Patricia Fuselier to the San Diego Humane Society.
