Norma Haugard's Obituary
Norma Haugard a longtime Escondido resident, died on February 7, 2012 at Silverado Senior Living in Escondido. Norma, a graduate of San Diego State, was born and raised in San Diego County. As a civil service employee of the United States Government, she lived and worked many years in Germany and France. After returning home to Escondido, she worked for San Dieg Her parents, Theodore and Pauline Haugard, sister Emilie Durkee, and nephew Duane Durkee predeceased her. Norma has no living relative. She does leave longtime friends who cherish their relationships with her. Always the adventurer, Norma particularly enjoyed the weekly outings on the Silverado van. She also enjoyed the musical performances held at Silverado. Her friends extend their heartfelt gratitude to staff of Silverado Senior Living and Silverado Hospic Norma's wish that there be no formal services was honored.
