Nikola "Nick" Dujakovich's Obituary
Nick Dujakovich is survived by his loving wife of almost 52 years, Smilja, who stood right beside him and was his primary caregiver during his long stay in the hospital. Her commitment to her husband and his needs was an inspiration to friends, family, and much of the hospital staff. Nick is also survived by his son, Momo, son, Milos and wife Svetlana, with her children Joshua and Katelyn; and by his two grandchildren, Nick and Milena, whom he cherished with all his heart. Born in the Serbian Village of Orlic, Dalmacija in what is known as the Krajina region of Croatia, Nick was the youngest of four siblings. He left home at the age of 17 with the Chetnik movement of Serbian Freedom Fighters. After spending two years as a He later began a long distance relationship with a childhood acquaintance Smilja Cenic, who had been living with her aunt in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He struck a deal to buy a small chicken ranch and called his wife to tell her to start packing. This small ranch was to become Nick's Egg Ranch on Harmony Gro Nick's desire for a better place to raise his family led him to join other local Serbian community members in founding a local Serbian Church.
