Nicholas J. Corolis, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 28, 2012 surrounded by his family. Born in Chicago, Nick lived most of his adult life in California. Son of the late John & Panagiota Corolis, dearest brother of James (Mary Lee), loving uncle of Melanie Chionis (Dr. Nicholas), and Joanne Reichert. Beloved uncle of Lexi, Lisa, Blake and Kennedi. As a member of the greatest generation, he proudly served in the Army Air Corps, during World War II and Korea. Nick was a member of Old Glory Lodge AF & AM, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Shriners International, American Inst. Aeronautics and Astronaut His family appreciates and would like to thank everyone who offered prayers and comfort during this difficult time. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 3459 Manchester A In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Nick Corolis Scholarship Fund, c/o Sts. Constantine & Helen Philoptochos, to support students pursuing careers in medicine or engineering. Nick will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends. M
