Nena E. Perez's Obituary
Nena E. Perez, 69 of Escondido,CA, died September 18, 2016. In her last moments, she was surrounded by the family that adored her. Born in Colombia, Nena touched many lives as a teacher in her native country. She kept in touch with so many of her students, always arriving with luggages full of gifts. Hoping to better the lives of her three children, She relocated to California and began a new chapter in her life. After several years of hard work and dedication, Nena opened her own beauty salon which she owned and operated for many years, all the while, raising her children as a single parent. And when most people are ready to settle into retirement, Nena adopted two young family members who were left orphaned. She raised them as her own and provided for them in every way a mother does for her children.
Nena had a great sense of humor and a gentle heart. She lived every moment to the fullest, letting her heart be her guide. She had a beautiful smile that she shared with everyone. She had a forgiving soul and one that we known will now rest at peace with our Heavenly Father.
She is survived by her husband, Juan Perez and her four children Angel Martinez, Danilo Martinez, Eliana Escobar, Josepth Perez, Edward Perez.
