N. Bert McIntosh, Jr.'s Obituary
He is survived by his sister Melba; son Ben; daughter Ann: five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was born in Keota, OK to Nuel and Jewel Mc Intosh. He moved with his family to National City where he graduated from Sweetwater High School and then went on to San Diego State College where he received his Bachelor and Masters Degrees in the science a Bert spent the majority of his career as a high school science teacher in the Poway School District. He and his family spent time in Lahore, Pakistan; San Jose, Costa Rica; and the Dominican Republic where he taught science in the American Schools. Duri When his high school teaching career came to a close Bert worked at both Chapman University and Aliant University as a supervisor of student teachers. Bert took an active role in the San Diego National History Museum. During the last years of his life h In leiu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the San Diego National History Museum or to a favorite charity.
