Nancy May Leo Piper's Obituary
Nancy Piper was born in Soboba, CA, daughter of Eva Lloyd and Patrick Leo.
Nancy Coorindated the Caring Center for the Native American United Methodist Church in Echo Park, CA for approximately 20 years. The Caring Center fed and clothed the community and also provided shelter. Nancy was calm and easy going. Her favorite pastimes were sewing, puzzles, watching Western movies, she loved to read, spend time with her grandkids, and was also an avid USC fan. She drove the church van, providing transportation to Sunday services and Nancy is survived by her daughters, Diane Piper, Donna Piper, Suzanne Piper and Jeanette Piper; sons, Russell Piper and George Piper; granddaughters, Julia Rose Whitetree, Jessica (Jeka) R. Whitetree and Rachel Lynn Diaz De Leon; grandsons, Anthony Richar Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
