Nancy Jolene Bogart's Obituary
Nancy Bogart was born Nancy Jolene Hughes on November 17, 1938 in Halstead, Kansas to Alton and Lucille Hughes. She was the oldest of five girls, Caroline, Joan, Sue and Kathy.
Nancy moved to Monte Vista, Colorado when she was in grade school. She met and married her high school sweetheart, John Bruce Bogart in 1956, her love of 47 years, and started on her adventure of a Navy wife!! This adventure took them from Tennessee to the Philippines and back to Escondido, where her John retired. She worked in Escondido Disposal for 25 years as a bookkeeper.
She was preceded by her parents, husband, and sister, Joan. John and Nancy had three children: Debra Joe Fehrenbach (married to Gary Fehrenbach), Alton "Tony" and Charlene "Cheri" Vogt (married to Dean Vogt)...Nancy was "MOM" to many!! She was blessed with numerous grandchildren; Eric, Joey, Kathy, Benson, Tyler and Justin Bogart, Zachary Belnap, Bree Vogt, Jared and Chelsea Fehrenbach; six great-grandchildren; and her beloved companion "punkin"
She will be forever remembered and cherished for her strong faith and amazing sense of humor!
