Myron Adelbert "Bud" Monroe's Obituary
Bud was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister. He is survived by three sisters and a brother; he is also survived by his wife, Murlene; his children, Rick (Colleen), Myron II (Patty) and Michele; adopted daughter, Sky; stepchildren, Marilyn (Monty), William and Barry (Clarissa); and 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his ex-wife, Freda; and many fond friends, clients and students. Called "Buddy" very early on, Bud spent his childhood and attended school in the Niagra, Wisconsin area before entering the U.S. Navy in 1945. He went on to spend 23 years of loyal service to his country ending a savvy Navy Corpsman, retiring as a Chief Better late than never, Bud obtained an MBA degree from National University (in its early days) while in his fifties. Which then allowed him to teach real estate and associated courses at Palomar College. He then became a lifetime credentialed Palomar C While the last few years took a toll on his health, it was surely his own relentless energy coupled with the dedicated care by his loyal wife of 25 years, Murlene, that pushed him through it.
