Mirjana Nikolovski's Obituary
Mirjana Nikolovski
September 7, 1941 – March 15, 2022
Our beloved Mirjana passed away peacefully on March 15nd in Escondido, CA, surrounded by loved ones. She was born Mirjana Mitovska on September 7, 1941, in Zilce, North Macedonia, and was one of six siblings. She met and married her husband Spasoje Nikolovski in March of 1963, and the couple, along with several of her siblings, immigrated to the United States in 1968 with their firstborn child. Their loving marriage produced three beautiful daughters; Tatjana Nikolovski, Nancy Testerman and Rajka Milovanovski.
Mirjana learned to sew and design clothing at a very young age in her native country and put those skills to use in Mirjana’s Alterations, the business she owned and operated for 40 years. She met and made many friends over the years through her alteration and bridal shop and her customers loved her. Mirjana was the matriarch, heart and backbone of her family, always placing the needs of others before her own. She was a patient, kind and extremely generous woman who loved her family fiercely. Mirjana showed her love through cooking for family and friends and always made sure to feed anyone who showed up for a visit at her home. Her absence will be felt deeply by all who knew and loved her.
Mirjana is survived by her husband, Spasoje Nikolovski, her daughters Rayka Milovanovski (Boban) and Nancy Testerman, her grandchildren Tyler Richardson, Maya and Michael Milovanovski, Delanie Morgan, Emily Testerman, and great grandchildren Haven and Jack Morgan. She is also survived by her brother Charlie Mitich, Dafinka Trpcevski, Ubavka Kirovski and countless nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Mirjana will be greatly missed and remembered fondly by all those whose lives she touched.
