Mira Sovljanski's Obituary
Mira Sovljanski, 79, of San Diego, California, passed away on January 16, 2018 at home.
Funeral Services will be held at Oak Hill Memorial Park Cemetery Monday, January 29, 2018 at 10:00AM.
Mira was born in Djunis, Serbia/Yugoslavia on February 17, 1938, to Negosav and Nikosava Stosic. Mira is survived by her son Zoran and daughter Diane. She has two grandchildren, Jake and Porter. She is preceded in death by her husband Mirko.
Mira and her husband Mirko married in Gary, Indiana in 1962 and lived there until 1984 when they retired and moved to San Diego, California.
Mira and Mirko both attended St. Petka church in San Marcos, California and sang in the church choir. Mira enjoyed over 30 years of retirement in San Diego.
Mira’s greatest joy, next to her family, was cooking, gardening, entertaining and helping her friends. She was admired and respected by so many people. No one who met her could not come away without feeling her kindness and warmth.
