I love you forever Dad. Our souls are infinite and I have no doubt that you were my Daddy before I was born just as you shall forever be my Daddy. Thank you for all you’ve done for me. I’m so proud and honored to have been your daughter. I want to always remember how big your heart was. And your seemingly endless patience. I hope to keep making you proud and to carry out this legacy you’ve left with me. Of all your children, I got to have the least time with you, but the amount of time didn’t matter because every moment we had together was a treasure. I find you in unlikely places— in a song, in nuggets of your wisdom that pop into my head randomly, and in my own reflection now more than ever. Every dimple on my face along with the mole on my cheek have become a reminder that no matter the time or distance, you are with me always because we are cut from the very same cloth. Our DNA is woven with the same threads and so we carry with us irrevocable pieces of the other. I love you Daddy, always.
With Love,
Joycie
