Michael George Klicman's Obituary
Michael George Klicman passed away peacefully at home in Cardiff on Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Born at the Community Hospital in Douglas, Mich., he was the youngest of four children of John and Natalie Klicman. In 1963, the family loaded themselves into their blue station wagon and traveled West to Escondido for the California dream. Michael attended kindergarten at Juniper Elementary School, and St. Mary's School for grades 1-8. He graduated from San Pasqual High School, then attended Palomar College, San Diego State and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. As a child, Michael showed an early interest in magic & entertainment. He put on shows at kid's parties and adult functions. He quickly learned he could make more money by doing a half hour of magic than he could by delivering newspapers! He had his fi Michael headed to Hollywood after getting the bug in an acting class at San Diego State. He moved to Los Angeles to pursue professional acting and got roles in film and television. His Screen Actors Guild work included; Robinhood Men in Tights; What's L Michael met his wife, Heather in 1996. They enjoyed 11 wonderful years of marriage. Their married life included the miracle of a double transplant to replace Michael's kidney and pancreas. He was a lifetime juvenile diabetic from the age of five. The Michael was predeceased by his father and mother; and his sister, Susan McMullen. He is survived by his wife, Heather Klicman; his sister, Kathy Greene (Jack); brother, John Klicman (Shirley); brother-in-law, Wayne McMullen (Lorraine); Uncle Jack Graham
