Michael E. Flinn's Obituary
Mr. Flinn was preceded in death by his parents, Dyall and Ellen Flinn. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Nancy Flinn; daughter Andrea Kathleen Flinn; brother, Robert D. Flinn (Charlotte); cousins, Georgia and Robert Gerardy and Andrea Lain; extended family in the San Diego area, Jane and Fritz McCorkell; Jim, Jeri and Patrick Wheyland; Tim, Vanessa and Maryann Wheyland; Richard and Tony Wheyland; Winnie Dessert; Roy and Joan Baum; Treva Sonner and Bonnie and Russell Langworthy. He served in the U.S. Army from 1971-1974. He graduated from high school in Sedalia, Mo., and from Augustana College, Rock Island, Ill. in 1979. He was an employee of Caterpillar Inc. at the Davenport, Iowa Facility from 1979 - 1987, and transferred to Solar Turbines Inc. in San Diego in 1987.
