Michael was a loving person with a heart of gold and loved to make people laugh. He was very caring and helped people in any way he could, in unique and selfless ways. Mike’s personality was large and he made friends everywhere he went. Everyone remembered Mike. Michael also volunteered his time helping the homeless for several years with father Joe Carroll. Before Michael’s disability he worked in Security for the Escondido Union School District for five years. Prior to this he resided in Kentucky to be closer to his ailing father. While there Michael loved working for the Bakery and Confectionery Union running his truck route for Entenmanns and Krispy Crème bakery. He spent endless hours working on charitable events to earn money for the University of Kentucky’s sports teams. He often commentated games and was a regular call-in personality for a local radio show. Michael loved his cats and spending time with friends and family. Mike was an avid sports enthusiast. He loved football and wrestling. He also enjoyed attending ball games, buffets, game shows and comedy shows. He was a collector of art and memorabilia. He was a loving son and brother.
