Rainier Dizon
I have many important aunties in my life who are like second mothers to me, but Auntie Mey was always the first in my childhood memories.
She already had her hands full being a full time working mom with three kids, but she always made time to take care of me too. Whether it was driving me and her kids to Bethune Elementary in her cream Ford Pinto (later white Honda Accord), or cooking her speciality Chicken Divan for dinner, or all the times she let me stay late at their house so we could all play Nintendo, she had a huge positive impact on who I am today thanks to her love and humor.
I’ll miss you Auntie Mey and I wish you a happy reunion with Grandma Patti and Grandpa Ben. Condolences to PJ, Kristine & Kristoffer, as well all her sisters especially Auntie Enda and Auntie Gina.
