Merrie Maxcy QuisQuis' Obituary
Merrie went to the Lord on the morning of August 6, 2014. She died of natural causes. She was a long time resident of Escondido until 2008 she moved to the Santa Ysabel Indian Reservation. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ply QuisQuis, her seven brothers, Raymond, Edward, Joseph, Everett, Felix,John, Stanley, Henry Maxcy and her granddaughter, Shannen Hutchinson Catlett. Merrie is survived by her two daughters, Phyllis Jean Rodriguez Hutchinson and Donna Long Devine, her six grandchildren, Herb and Ernie Hutchinson, LeAnn Devine Mc Brayer, and Damion, Lance & Che Devine and five great grandchildren, Rachele, Mathew, Angela, and Randy Catlett, Nichol Mc Brayer Coussa, Christopher McBrayer, Michael Bongiorno, Zach, Destiny and Myla Devine. A visitation will be held Friday, August 15, 4-8 p.m. with the Rosary recited at 7:00 pm at Alhiser-Comer Mortuary, 225 S. Broadway, Escondido, CA, 92025. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, August 16, 10:00 a.m. at Santa Ysabel Mission, 23013 California 79, Santa Ysabel, CA 92070.
