Merle Lonzo Thompson's Obituary
Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his brother, Glen Thompson, in 2006. He is survived by his Wife of 65 years: Mary Thompson; Daughter: Vicki Jacobs; and Sister: Ilene Wright. He is also survived by 2 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. He served our country in the Army during WWII in the Medical Corps and received a Purple Heart. He worked at Studebaker auto plant on line. He did maintenance for the U.S. Postal service for 14 years, retiring in 1978. He was a member of the Auto Workers Union, the Disabled Military Veterans, and the Civilian Conservation Corps. He loved to paint
