Mrs. Harrebomee was preceded in death by her parents Daniel & Maria Velasquez. She is survived by her husband of 43 years Hans Harrebomee; son Hans Harrebomee, Jr; daughter Darsih Harrebomee; grandchild Andrew Kauffer; brother Daniel Francisco Velasquez Bonilla; sisters Judith Velasquez Bonilla de Franco (Hugo, Sr.), Maria Luisa Velasquez Bonilla (Guatemala), Luz Olivia Velasquez McDonald (James), Azucena Velasques de Revet (Bernard), Gloria Velasquez Bonilla. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Humanities from UCLA, a Master's Degree from National University, A Master's Degree in Early Childhood Development from UCIU. Formerly a toxicologist and pharmacologist in Guatemala. Besides teaching for Escondido school District, she also taught at Palomar College and San Diego State University.
