She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon, in August 2007; She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Mae Rennels and Barbara Ann Payne; sister, Lorena Gillehan; granddaughters, Debra (Rennels)Lanning and Jill (Payne) Pierce ; grandsons, Jeffrey Gordon Rennels and Kevin Payne: great-grandsons, Ben and Joel Lanning, Joshua and Mason Pierce and great-granddaughter, Avalon Pierce. She retired from Control Data Corp. as an Assembly Technician, in 1981. She was a member of the Emmanuel Faith Community Church in Escondido. She was a vibrant, light hearted and hospitable woman. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Elizabeth Hospice, 150 W. Crest St. Escondido, CA 92025
