Mary Snyder West's Obituary
Mary was preceded in death by an infant son; and daughter, Barbara West. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Lou Baird; grandchildren, Natali Hinton and Chris Baird. She graduated from Francis W. Parker School. She was born in Scranton, PA. Her father, a well known architect in the area, moved the family to La Jolla in 1919, and later to San Diego. Mary married Ashley E. West in 1931, eloping to Yuma, AZ. They had a 66 year marriage before Ashley died in 1998 In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you send any donations to the San Diego Zoo in her name
