Mary Frances (Reese) Tucker's Obituary
Mrs. Tucker is survived by her husband of 63 years, Thomas B. Tucker; her sons, Thomas R. Tucker and T. Scott Tucker; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She and some of her college classmates volunteered to do aircraft watch and report any airplanes that flew along the coast during the war. After graduation from junior college she went to work at Consolidated Aircraft helping to make B 24 bombers. She attended the Escondido Elementary School and the Escondido High School, which was located on 4th Ave. and Hickory at that time. She was involved in a number of student activities including cheerleading and graduated in the Class of 1942. After gradu She was active in politics at the local, county and state level. She was a member of the Escondido Republican Club and served on the San Diego County and the State Republican Central Committees. She was a member of P.E.O.
