Mary Catherine Asaro's Obituary
Mary Catherine Asaro, age 90, of San Diego, died on Sunday, June 9, 2013. She was born on January 28, 1923, in New Orleans, LA, to Michele and Lena DiGiovanni. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt, who loved to cook and bake. Everyone loved going to her home because there was always plenty of love, food and Mary is survived by her sister, Anna Mae Talone, son Andrew Asaro (Cheryl), daughter Kathleen DeWitt (Richard), five grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband Ignazio, In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Didacus Catholic Parish or the hospice of your choice.
