Marta Ve Everton Graham's Obituary
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Leslie and Patricia Fox; daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and Peter Beveridge; daughter, Christi Graham; and seven grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law, June Everton; and nephews, Tony C. and Richard Everton; and is remembered with affection by her stepsons, Greg and Robin Graham; stepdaughter, Janice Joy; stepson, Robert Jr.'s widow, Cheryl; and their families. She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Robert; brother, Del M. (tony) Everton; and stepsons, David, Robert Jr. and G. Wesley Graham. She was born in Luling, Texas to Tony and Nora Levy. Marta Ve had a great desire to help others in the field of medicine, which led her to pursue a medical degree. She received her M.D. with honors from Baylor College of Medicine in 1955, one of just th Determined to see medical care made available to the underserved, she frequently traveled on short term medical missions to Mexico, Central and South America. She found great support from Emmanuel Faith Community Church, where she was a member for over 3 Marta Ve was a woman of generosity, strength and courage and will be greatly missed by her family and community.
