Marlys Ione Davidson Ripperger's Obituary
Marlys Ione Davidson Ripperger died January 15, 2012, surrounded by family at the home of her daughter, Theresa Armstrong. She was born April 25, 1925 in Bristol, S.D., where she grew up. She married Anthony Ripperger in 1948 and they moved to Venice, CA in 1952. They made Escondido their home in 1967. Marlys worked at the Broadway in Century City, Penney's in Carlsbad and Golf Craft in Escondido. She was a member of the House of Prayer Marlys was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Anthony. She is survived by her children, Cheryl Walker of Valley Center, Mark Ripperger of Carlsbad, Tony Ripperger of Oroville, and Theresa Armstrong of San Marcos; 12 grandchildren and 11 great- In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Church or to Elizabeth Hospice.
