Mark G. Houser's Obituary
Services will be held for Mark G. Houser, who entered into rest on February 8, 2024. He was 65 years of age. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Lorraine, their beautiful daughter Rachel and her husband, Lance, caring sister Kathy and her husband Chris, and treasured companions, Luna and gg.
Mark was born on January 3, 1959 in Lynwood, California, and grew up in Huntington Beach. He attended UC Irvine, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and had a long career that spanned over 40 years as a software engineer. He was a devoted husband, loving father, a supportive brother and a great friend to many.
He loved the Lord and was a wonderful witness for Christ. He was a very active member of the Knights of Columbus and assisted with many parish activities at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Escondido.
Mark loved flying and had his pilot’s license. He enjoyed all things techie, from Star Wars to computers, ‘a true computer nerd’.
