My sweetest Papa, I’ll love and miss you forever and ever. I’m looking forward to the day we get to see each other again, my favorite 🩷.
I came to know Mark first across our shared cul-da-sac and then—gratefully—around our shared table. On Sunday evenings, I’d meal‑prep for my family and carry over a plate of each dish for Mark and Debbie to try. What began as a neighborly gesture became our weekly tradition: taste‑testing, swapping stories, and finding time to laugh at the end of a long week. Mark met every bite with curiosity and warmth, and somehow those small moments felt like the heart of our neighborhood.
That spirit shined brightest at our annual Halloween party. Debbie and Mark were the life of the celebration—showing up in spirited costumes, greeting newcomers like old friends, and making sure everyone felt included. Their laughter lifted the room; their kindness anchored it.
Mark had a way of turning routines into rituals and gatherings into memories. His generosity, humor, and steady presence touched all of us who were lucky to call him neighbor and friend. Jamie and I will miss him—deeply and daily—and remember him in every shared Sunday dish and every October evening when the pumpkins glow.
I remember Mark coming to school to help Debbi do anything and everything that needed doing, always with joy and a smile on his face. When I fortuitously visited him in the hospital in October, he had the same smile and joy, even optimism, in spite of likely knowing he was nearing the end of his life. Thank you for giving Debbi so much happiness, and wonderful memories to hold onto until you two undoubtedly meet again!

My Uncle Mark was my
Favorite. He was kind, didn’t judge a soul, and he loved everyone he met. I loved visiting him with my
Cousin Bryce and Brent. Even loved when my uncle mark and Brent moved to
FL for a short time. It was a time we got closer. It was so nice seeing him at my papas funeral last year even though it was a sad time at least after many yrs we were able to visit with each other and he got to
