Maria "Trini" Gutierrez peacefully passed away in her home on Friday, January 20, 2012. Trini was born on September 21, 1928 in Jalisco, Mexico. She married Miguel Gutierrez in 1962. She was known by all as "Mama Trini" and was an outgoing, funny, witty, charismatic woman who loved life. Trini loved everyone the same, was very generous and had a heart for people. She enjoyed Mariachi music, dancing, singing, vacationing in Mexico and loved to dress up elegantly. Trini will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved She is survived by her husband, Miguel; children, Manuel Arias, Jessie Bryant (Geoff), Teresa Barragan (Luis Manuel), Pedro Chavez, Olivio Lopez (Berenice), Irma Johnson (Brian), Yolie Johnson (Jerry), Michael Gutierrez (Deanna), Moses Gutierrez; 27 grand A reception will follow the graveside service at Emmanuel Faith Community Church in Escondido.
