Madeline McGurk's Obituary
Madeline E. McGurk passed away May 1, 2014 in Escondido, CA She was born February 13, 1920.
Madeline was the devoted wife of Frank J. McGurk, founder of McGurk Engineering in Gardena, CA. Madeline and Frank raised three daughters in Los Angeles, CA and retired to Escondido in 1972.
Madeline cherished her roles of wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was genuine, generously loving, and above all considered time spent with family and her faith to be of greatest importance to her.
Madeline was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. McGurk; her brother John Grosvenor; and one great-grandson. She is survived by her three daughters and their husbands: Sharon (William) Boettcher of Los Lunas, NM, Kathleen (James) Berman of San Diego, CA and Erin McGurk and her husband Ronald Dieck of Palo Alto, CA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, May 13th, at San Rafael Catholic Church located in Rancho Bernardo of San Diego, CA.
She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
