Madelaine was preceded in death by her second Husband of 24 years: Leland Astleford and her third Husband of 10 years: Fred Fulton. Madelaine is survived by her first husband George C. McFarland II, and their two Sons: George Curtis "Packy" McFarland III and his wife, Lynne; John Rodgers McFarland and his wife, Kathleen; Two daughters: Donna Louise Rusher and husband, Joel, and Merry Lois Williams and her husband, Roger. Madelaine had 9 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. Madelaine was a registered nurse at Palomar Medical Center for 17 years. She was born and lived all but sixteen of her 91 years in San Marcos, California. She graduated from Escondido High School. She was a member of the San Marcos Methodist Church.
