Lureen Adele Conkle's Obituary
Lureen "Capi" Conkle came into the world November 23, 1930 in Long Beach, California. Even as a young girl she adored being active and exploring her world outdoors, especially the ocean, its creatures and shells. During World War II she raised chickens for the war effort and had a victory garden which began her love for raising chicks of unique breeds and cultivating a variety of plants. She passed on her appreciation for nature, art and music to her six children, imparting respect, love, and passion for others and God along the way.
Her many travels helped to mold her kindness and openness to new cultures and experiences. She left this world January 18, 2020, leaving her remaining 4 children, many grandchildren, nieces and nephews, that will continue to tell about her giving, loving and servant's heart.
