Lonnie John Rowin's Obituary
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Pat Rowin; his daughter Vickie Stark (Ken); daughter-in-law, Codie Rowin; grandchildren, Doug Rowin, Stephanie Walker,Johnathan Armitage and Vickie Talbert; great grandchildren, Colton Walker, Brody Talbert and Jake Rowin. He served in the US Air Force for 22 years as a procurement officer. Mr. Rowin served in Vietnam and Korea. He retired in 1976 at the rank of Colonel. He continued his work in procurement with the missile program at General Dynamics in San Diego. He graduated from the University of Arkansas, in 1954, with a Bachelors Degree in Business and earned his Masters Degree, in 1963, from the University of Colorado. He was born in San Luis, Colorado. On January 10, 1950, in Ft. Smith Ark., he married Pat (Bumpers) Rowin. He was an active member of the local Elks, Masons and Moose Lodge. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Alzheimers Association 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17 Chicago, ILL 60601-7633.
