Lola T. West's Obituary
Lola T. West, 69, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 at her Escondido, CA home. Lola was born on March 5, 1944 in New Brunswick, NJ. She married Teddy R. West on September 16, 1964. Mrs. West enjoyed softball, bowling and walking. She liked to crotchet and read but mostly she loved any activity which meant spending time with her family.
She is survived by children, Lola T. West (James Jose), DeVenia Seeney, James West (Lorena), Walter West (Jessica); sister, Patricia Ann Ferguson (Paul); Brother, Henry James Hoffman (Janelle); seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Teddy in 2004 and brother, Stanley Hoffman.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 20, 2013 at St. Mary’s Church in Escondido. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Lola’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, www.stjude.org.
