Lidia Ortiz
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Lidia Palmerin de Ortiz was born June 11, 1937 – October 25, 2015. Originally from La Parcelidad de Iramuco, Guanjuato, Mexico. She immigrated to the United States in 1965 to call North county San Diego home, mostly Pauma Valley and later Valley Center. She was an immigrant farm worker when she first arrived to the states, and later became a full time homemaker for her eight children. She also helped raise several of her grandchildren.
Lidia joins her parents, Mateo and Julia Palmerin, and her beloved son Beda Jr. Ortiz in heaven. She leaves behind her loving husband Beda Ortiz and their seven children Sylvia, O. Duron, Jorge Ortiz, Gerardo Ortiz, Genoveva Janis, Abraham Ortiz, Alejandro Ortiz, and Veronica Ortiz-Streb. Plus her 19 cherished grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
