I grew up on Risley street in East Hartford and remember Lenny well. If ever we had a history question we would ask him. I never could understand how he knew and could recite all the presidents names and date of birth. So sorry to hear of his passing but I am sure he is happy to be with his dad now. Prayers for the family.

So sorry to hear about this gentle giant of a man. I remember visiting his house for Halloween and he would come to the door with a lit lightbulb in his mouth. Went to school with him for many years.He will be missed.

I just can't believe the news about Lenny. Our families were long time friends. This time of year it is so hard to deal with. Just got Vi's Christmas card with family news. I have a lot of fond memories of Lenny. Always a group of us walking to school, playing over at our house, just being around all of us. And we all looked out for Lenny and I think he looked out for us as well. And he was a kind person with a good soul. My condolences to Mrs. Godlewski, Sue & her family. I will miss you Lenny! I so remember this sweet soul. We would sit in the cafeteria and he would test me on the Presidents or some sci Fi book he was reading that I had never heard of.
He always made me smile and I had my eye out to make sure he was always treated well.
Just smiled remembering his goofy grin.
