Mrs. Tanner was preceded in death by her husband, William W. Tanner, in 1990. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Eddie and Marlene Henson of Columbia Falls, Mont., and William and Anita "Lynn" Stamm and Terry and Renee Matson, all of Escondido; son and daughter-in-law Ronald "Dean" and Barbara Tanner of Escondido; brother and sister-in-law Orville and Frances Weatherbee of Childress, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was born in Santa Rosa, N.M., and lived in Escondido for 70 years. She was a homemaker
