Charles A. Lawrence, 82, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2012 in San Diego, CA. Charles was born on December 18, 1929 in Oakland County, MI. He graduated from Berkley High School, and after extensive college study, began his career as a Technical Engineer which took him all over the world. Mr. Lawrence moved to San Diego in 1977 to c He is survived by children, Dave (Monica) Lawrence, Dan (Kerri) Lawrence, Jeff (Lisa) Lawrence; sister, Jane Lorang; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A private burial was held at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, CA In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Charles’s name to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
