Larry Kizer's Obituary
Larry Kizer, 92, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Palomar Hospital in Escondido. Mr. Kizer suffered a stroke in early August and never fully recovered. Larry and his beloved wife Wilma worked together for several years at the Singer Corporation in San Marcos. After retirement they moved to Lucerne Valley where they lived until Wilma’s death after which Larry moved to Villa Madeira. Mr. Kizer was a decorated combat veteran of WW II fighting in Germany. He was one of the “Greatest Generationâ€, who defeated Germany, Italy & Japan. Thus saving the world. He and Wilma were fun loving, great dancers and were loved and admired by their many, many friends. Larry was a great gardener and many shared the fruits (& vegetables) of his labor.
