Laquita Alsobrook's Obituary
Laquita Alsobrook, 76, a longtime Escondido resident passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2011. Laquita was born on April 24, 1935 in Hazel, KY.
A Ms. Alsobrook enjoyed square dancing, reading, dancing, gardening, and Mexican food. An avid shopper she also was a rock hound who enjoyed walks on the beach searching for rocks. Laquita was a Past President of the North Star Singles Square Dance Club and She is survived by her daughters, Debbi (Mike) Nelson, Vicki (Robin) Smith, Tina (Gary) Bey, Brenda (Gary) Iwamura; 10 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Laquita was preceded in death by her brother Roy McKinney.
