Kinzie Jasper Hogue's Obituary
Kinzie "Ken" Jasper Hogue passed suddenly on November 6, 2024. Born in Clarksburg, West Virginia in 1942 to Jasper and Minnie Hogue, Ken spent the last 75 years of his life in Escondido, California. He graduated from Escondido High School in 1960, and operated Hogue Black Top for over 50 years. Ken was a member of Elks Lodge, Escondido Fish and Game, and the NRA. He is survived by his wife Sandy Hogue, son Troy Hogue & daughter-in-law Tammy Hogue, daughter Lynne Jannise & son-in-law Gary Jannise, daughter Tracy Overton, son-in-law Gary Overton, daughter Christine Walker and son-in-law Keith Walker, daughter Mary Condry and son-in-law Rick Condry, 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, as well as many who called him Dad or Uncle Ken.
His memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec 7, 2024 at 1:00pm at Bethel Baptist Church, 855 Brotherton Road, Escondido, CA 92025. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the American Heart Association.
