Kenneth Jelden's Obituary
Our Dad, Kenneth Jelden, was born on March 27, 1929, in a farmhouse in Columbus, Nebraska. He lived a full, rich life and had a truly great run.
He passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on January 10, 2026, in his beloved Champagne Village.
Our Dad never hesitated to crack a corny joke with his wry sense of humor. He loved his walks and enjoyed visiting with friends and meeting new people. He wasn’t bold or loud, but rather more quiet and even a bit shy.
He was devoted to the Air Force, and was very proud of his military service during the Korean War. For those of you lucky enough to have encountered and enjoyed time with him, please know, he greatly enjoyed your company and anything you had to share.
Because of his deep faith, he would want you to know that where he resides now is wonderful in ways that words cannot describe. He is reunited with his dear Roxye, the love of his life, and joined again with family members who went before him.
For the rest of us here, we will forever relish and cherish the many memories we have of our dear, sweet Dad.
Be blessed.
