Kenneth Blankenship's Obituary
Kenneth Blankenship, 80, passed into the arms of his Savior peacefully on May 27, 2013 at Redwood Terrace Health Center in Escondido from complications of Alzheimer's disease.
He was born September 26, 1932 in East Peoria, Il, the son of William and Mildred Blankenship. He married his sweetheart, Joyce Dunn, on September 22, 1957. They came to San Diego in December, 1960 after his graduation from DeVry Technical Institute in Chicago. Ken finished his education at National University, receiving his Master's Degree in Business Administration in 1981. They moved to Escondido in 1961, where their family grew to include three daughters. In 2004, they moved to Madrid Manor Mobile Home Par Ken's Aerospace career started in San Diego in 1960. In 1963, he went to work for Singer-Kearfott in San Marcos for 31 years as a Quality Assurance Engineer. He then worked at Circuits Processing Technology in Oceanside and retired in 2002. His integri Ken is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joyce; and daughters, Michelle Lynch (Van), Kimberly Itzaina, and Lisa Larson (Steve); seven grandchildren; Sara and Melissa Lynch, Megan, Brian and Joshua Itzaina, and Mckenna and Ian Larson.
