Kathleen Ann Fujikawa's Obituary
Our beloved Kathleen Ann Fujikawa passed away on Saturday September 7, 2019 in her home after a four-year battle with Ovarian Cancer (after surviving Breast Cancer in 1998 with the support of family and friends). She died peacefully surrounded by family. Kathy helped teach us the importance of joy, song, optimism, patience, and grace. She spent 35 years of her life as an elementary school teacher at Escondido schools, such as Oak Hill, Pioneer, Conway, and Hidden Valley. She is survived by her husband Bill and children, Jesse and Kiyomi.
We will be having a celebration of her life on this Saturday September 14, 2019 at 3pm at the Escondido Performing Arts Center, Conference Center. We’d love for you join us. The address is 340 N Escondido Blvd, Escondido, CA 92025.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the 9 Girls Ask For a Cure for Ovarian Cancer (https://www.ninegirlsask.com/donate/).
