Katherine Anne Hixon's Obituary
Katherine Anne Hixon passed peacefully on April 3,2012 into the loving arms of our Lord.
Katherine was born in Shawnee Colorado on July 8,1921. She grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, then moved with her family to Escondido in 1933. She graduated from old Escondido High School, then worked for Bell Telephone, retiring from there after 40 years. Katherine was an active member of the Telecom Pioneers of America, and the Oak Hill Church of Christ. Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, John and Martha Dawes and three brothers. She is survived by her sister Margaret Bates and numerous nieces and nephews. We will have a gathering of Family and Friends on Sunday, April
15,12:30 P.M. to celebrate her new life, at the Oak Hill Church of Christ (1301 Oak Hill Dr, Escondido). In lieu of Flowers Donations may be made to the Oak Hill Church of Christ, Escondido, Ca. 92027
