Judie Ann Cotton's Obituary
Judie Ann Cotton was born on February 8, 1941, in Inglewood, California, to Leon Cooley and Mary Cagle Cooley who preceded her in death. At age 21 she earned her pilot’s license to fly small planes. She loved working in the travel industry and worked as a travel agent for Western Airlines.
Judie achieved her black belt in Tae Kwon Do as a student under Master Chun, and she was a member of the Golden Connection Dance group at the California Center for the Arts Escondido.
She leaves behind her husband, Gary Cotton, a son Gregory Duncan and a daughter Belinda Duncan and their families. She also leaves behind her step-children Brad Cotton and Curtis Cotton and their families. She had eight grandchildren.
A viewing and visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Alhiser-Comer Mortuary, 225 S. Broadway, Escondido. The funeral service will also be at the mortuary on Friday, October 9, 2015, at 10:30 am, with a private family burial to follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
