Joycelyn "Dolly" Santrach's Obituary
Dolly was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and John Gornick; and her brother, John "Sonny" Gornick. She is survived by her husband, Peter Santrach; her sister, Rosemary Gornick; brother, Ron Gornick; her children, Jon Paul Santrach, Peter "Pedo" Santrach, Jr., Ronald Santrach, Mary Ann Eagleson, Rozanne Reguly, Thomas Santrach, Luanne Csonka, and Joanne Gutierrez. Grandchildren, Pete Ray, Betty Rose and Alexandria Santrach, Stephen, Mark, and Camille Santrach, Lucy Eagleson, Brian, Jayson and Breanne Reguly, Dee Ann and Grace Santrach, Spencer Csonka, and Kolby Gutierrez; aunt, Pauline Gornick; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends. Dolly was very outgoing and enjoyed the spotlight, whether she was pretending to be a drum major leading the neighborhood children in parades or acting in school plays. Another side of her, driven by her passion for God led her to consider becoming a nun Dolly loved children and she would be blessed with eight. Family was everything to Dolly and she instilled in her children the importance of loving and taking care of one another. Mom showed us how to live and enjoy each moment. She was a stickler abou Peter and Dolly enjoyed dancing, cruises, and the Christmas Tree Lane fund raiser. Entertaining was her passion; their Halloween and Christmas parties at her lovely Casa de Ninos home were extravaganzas that are still talked about today.
