Joyce Barbara Elliott's Obituary
Ms. Elliott was preceded in death by her parents, John D. and Margaret D. (Wastak) Messenger. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Sellers (Elliott) and JoAnn Elliott; sister and brother, Ruth (Messenger) Kilroy, and Robert Messenger; nephew, Kevin Kilroy, Nieces, Valerie Kilroy, PhD., Jackie (Messenger) McPhee, Linda (Messenger) Leiker, and Laurie & Cindy Messenger. She delighted in breeding champion dogs & cats, and was "Mom" to a host of other animals over the years. A consummate friend who would do anything for anyone, Joyce had a great talent for cooking, and enjoyed yoga and the zoo. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joyce's honor to the San Diego Zoo (Attn: Memorial Gifts, PO Box 120551, San Diego, CA 92112); or Escondido Humane Society (3450 E. Valley Pkwy., Escondido, CA 92027)
