Joshua Milton Detwiler's Obituary
Joshua served in the US Navy in the Western Pacific during WWII and was involved in some of the major landings during that time. He attended college and received an Associate of Arts degree. He was a Communications Technician for GTE phone company retiring after 33 years. His favorite pastimes were beekeeping, gardening, and he was an avid reader. He was a member of the Odd Fell Joshua was a kind, generous grandfather who was always very positive. He was always jolly, optimistic, and always looked on the bright side of things. He was an "Everyday is a Beautiful Day!" type of guy. Joshua was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Smith; brother, Henry Detwiler; and sister, Delfine Clark. He is survived by his son, Mark Detwiler; and daughters, Gayle Babcock and Joanne Patterson.
