Josephine M. DeTate's Obituary
Mrs. DeTate was preceded in death by her husband, John Anthony DeTate, in 1980.
She is survived by her son, John A. DeTate (Myra); daughter Jaenine Thomas; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren Born in Bellaire, Ohio, she lived in San Marcos for 20 years. She retired in 1985 after 23 years as a lab technician for Carbonetics.
She was a member of Cares. She was a volunteer for the California Center for the Arts, Escondido for eight years. A catered reception will follow in the social hall. She requested that everyone wear bright colored clothes.
