Joseph is survived by his Wife of 41 years: Heather J. Mecaro; Son: Mathew Mecaro; Daughters: Toni Mecaro and Carrie Mecaro; Brothers: Anthony Mecaro and Louie Mecaro; and Sisters: Victoria Ciangiarulo and Jeanne Formosa. Joseph was a Real Estate Broker for Village Realty here in Escondido. He enjoyed coaching Little League and working on City Commissions. He enjoyed gardening, golfing, boxing, and politics.
